References to Presbyterians in Chippawa date back in time to 1807, but they did not have a meeting house until 1842. The congregation of Chippawa Presbyterian Church in Chippawa, Ontario was established in 1842, with the Reverand Thomas Christie appointed as the first minister. The original structure was replaced in 1891 by a large brick church, shown here.

The present Chippawa Presbyterian Church was erected in 1961.The Church has weekly services on Sunday mornings, and also has a nursery section, and two parking lots. It is the sole Presbyterian Church in the Village.
