The grass tends to be a little long, so there are notices placed around the park warning about ticks. There is also a trail near the park that can be hiked with your pet(s) - but outside of the designated area, dogs must be leashed.

A. A large sign is displayed in front of both the small and large dog areas. This sign indicates the designated direction for any visitor to follow the route to the proper dog park size section. This sign also lays out the general rules and guidelines for any visitor to follow to ensure the safety and maintenance of the dog parks.
B. This provides visitors with some information about the park. As depicted, there is no smoking within the off-leash areas to ensure cigarette butts are not ingested by our pets. Take note that within this photo, it depicts the canopied seating that is offered within the off-leash area for small breed dog owners.
A1 & A2. Both the small and large dog parks feature large uninterrupted ground. Seating is also located around the park which allows you to relax anywhere your dog chooses to play. These benches that are not located under a canopy do attract a lot of sun during times of peak daylight.
B. Please keep in mind that the grass at this specific park tends to be extremely long, this means that checking for ticks is essential. There is signage throughout the park that warns dog owners of this possibility.
A. The canopy also allows for sheltered seating year-round. The canopy structure itself is built quite nicely, with a solid structure that is conveniently placed when you enter the off-leash areas. The Canopy area is quite large with a few plastic lawn chairs. If the seats are taken, there is also the possibility of sitting on the rocks that are around the perimeter of the canopy.
B. There are many dog bowls located under the main canopy. These bowls can be filled with water in order to provide it to the dogs within the park. A water source is not offered so water will need to be brought in by visitors.
A. Dog waste bag dispensers are located as soon as you enter the park. Garbage bins are located near the entrances. This is perfect if you happen to forget your waste bags at home.
B. Disposal containers are located just inside the park. Garbage and recycling bins are a great way to promote a clean play environment for pets and a clean walking environment for humans.
Above is a digital map that provides additional details about the park. A legend is placed below the park in order to identify markings.
