Sketchbook Comics and Games is a comic book store that sells and hosts a variety of different games for interested players and newcomers. Despite selling primarily comics, their store also carries a variety of board games and Magic the Gathering trading cards, hosting gaming sessions most weekends and weekdays. With Magic the Gathering sessions available 5 days of the week, and Dungeons and Dragons games running every Wednesday, it is the perfect place to explore and test out the fun and complexity of the Trading Card game, or taking a crack at one of the oldest Role-Playing Games still well and alive in today's culture, and more recently on the rise in the Niagara Region.
Beyond selling games, comics and gaming accessories, the store also hosts a number of events and offers plenty of services. In particular, the store hosts gameplay sessions for Magic The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, sells comic books, figurines, DnD books plus accessories, Magic The Gathering cards and accessories, as well as various collector items pertaining to games and movie franchises. The stores selection of all their products is much larger than most stores in comparison, and is one of the few of its kind to sell both comics and games combined.
Sketchbook Comics and Games was opened in 2012 by Geoff Rousseau and Joel Niddrie, its owners, and still remains as their first ever locally owned business after all these years.

Although the door lacks an automatic opening feature, the walkway leading up to it is sloped and easily wheelchair, walker, or mobility scooter accessible. The inside of the store itself is open and easy to maneuver for those with needed equipment. During most operating hours the auditory and sensory information in the store is very tame for those vulnerable to sensory overload. During event nights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the volume can get quite loud but during normal hours the store is rather quiet.
