Our final destination is the hidden gem of Niagara falls the Niagara Glen trail. Located in the park behind the Niagara Glen Nature Centre this particular trail is a little hard to find but is well worth the trouble.This trail has various twists and turns allowing hikers to choose what they would like to experience. Featuring river side trails where hikers can get close and personal with the powerful niagara river and whirlpool. If you are one to enjoy a more relaxing walk there are options of trails that stay within the carolinian forest.

Recreational Features

Within the park located by the Niagara Glen Nature Centre there are picnic and bbq areas if you wish to just relax and spend quality time with friends or family. Once you go down the metal staircase into the gorge you will notice large rock formations scattered throughout, many people use them to boulder. Once you find the rapids you will sometimes encounter folks fishing as well as some just admiring the waterside by the shores. One of the main attractions of this trail is the whirlpool trail that leads you all the way to a massive whirlpool created by the fast moving waters going into a circular basin.
