General Description

Legends on the Niagara is a facility that mainly features three golf courses, two of which being championship courses and the third being a par-3 executive course. Visitors who come to this location will also find a three putting/chipping greens, a full driving range, and a beautiful restaurant overlooking the courses. This location is also rich in wildlife as it holds its own Audubon International Certification.

Recreational Features

This location also features the Legends on the Niagara Restaurant with a kitchen run by Chef Dan Willick. The restaurant features an indoor dining area and also patio that overlooks the Battlefield course. Visitors don't have to golf to visit the restaurant when it is open. This location also features the pro shop for golfers and a half-way house along with beer carts that circle the Usshers Creek and Battlefield courses.

Ecological Attributes

The Legends on the Niagara grounds feature two championship courses, a par-3 executive course, a 360° driving range, and a state-of-the-art training academy. The entire grounds is home to an overwhelming amount of native wildlife to be experienced by visitors with several bodies of water also being upkept by their turf department. Legends on the Niagara proudly features its Audubon International Certification for their hard work in wildlife management and protection along with low pesticides use around the grounds and property. The grounds also feature several pollinator gardens to aid the Monarch Butterfly population along with other wildlife.

Importance Within NPC

Legends on the Niagara comes with great importance to the Niagara Parks Commission not only because of the hard work that is daily spent on the courses to keep them looking pristine, but the location also comes with its Audubon International Certification. Legends on the Niagara staff work tirelessly to protect and preserve the environment of the location which will often put golfers up close and personal with its native plant and wildlife in its natural state. The Legends Academy and Chippawa course also provides training and experience for young and old golfers alike. This location is valuable to the NPC because it brings people together through experience and tournaments and provides them with a unique experience every single time they explore the courses.
