Downtown Niagara Falls is appropriately renowned for its many amazing destinations - so it's easy to overlook the hidden gem that is its sister town. But Chippawa is a worthwhile destination in its own right, and it's the ideal setting for those looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of touristy Clifton Hill, while still being close enough to experience the beauty of the Niagara Parkway, and to hear the roar of the Falls. Exploring Chippawa by bike lets you experience the town at a more leisurely pace. On this cycling tour, you'll explore several historic sites in the Village of Chippawa, and several popular locations where locals enjoy hanging out.
Your tour begins at the popular "Kingsbridge Park". It's a convenient place to park your vehicle and unload your bike, if you are arriving by car. The park also gives you an ideal view of the Niagara River as it flows past towards the Falls. You can also see straight across into downtown Niagara Falls, New York, from this viewpoint.
Following the Niagara Parkway south towards the centre of town, you'll then visit other popular locations in Chippawa. These include restaurants, historical landmarks, and popular recreational facilities. Your tour will conclude at a favourite local restaurant, Betty's. They are open from 9 am until 8 pm, so go grab a snack or a meal at the end of your tour.
